Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00132 | $0.03005 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00066 | $0.01503 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00026 | $0.00601 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00013 | $0.00300 |
Grade A, and why
viral-hook-generator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 304 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Viral Hook Generator
Purely Personal · by Daniel Paul
Read ALL reference files before generating anything:
/references/voice-dna.md, Daniel's 5 hook archetypes, ICP snapshot, banned words/references/human-writing-standards.md, Hook Quality Test (5 points), AI blacklist/references/copywriting-frameworks.md, framework context for each hook type/references/design-system.md, brand tokens
STEP 0 — CONTEXT CHECK (always first, never skipped)
Look for the participant's context, in this priority order:
- BUSINESS-BRAIN.md — project root, Project Knowledge, or attached to the chat. The single source of truth. If present, its Voice DNA, ICP, hook archetypes, and banned words OVERRIDE the Daniel Paul defaults in
/references/voice-dna.md. - If no brain: the individual foundation documents —
icp-[name].md,voice-dna-[name].md,positioning-[name].md,messaging-[name].md,rule1-[name].md,personal-story-[name].md,business-inbox-[name].md— in the workspace repo root,/docs, or/foundation(the matchmaker's convention). Use them the same way. - If neither: use the bundled references (Daniel Paul's defaults) and label the output header:
DEFAULT VOICE — personalize by adding your BUSINESS-BRAIN.md to this project.
Never ship a default where a participant value exists. Never re-ask for the reader when the brain's ICP already describes them.
WHEN RUNNING HEADLESS (routine / scheduled)
No human is in the loop. Never wait for a choice:
- Skip the Step 1 clarifying question. Take the reader from the brain's ICP; if none exists, state the assumed reader in one line labeled
DEFAULT — assumedand build anyway. - The ranking already picks the winner: lead the output with the Rank 1 hook, named as the pick, with the one-sentence "Why #1" reasoning. Do not end with a question.
Routine output contract: the deliverable is a Gmail DRAFT (never send) with email-safe HTML (inline styles only, no external scripts, no GSAP) or clean plain text, and/or a file committed to the repo when the routine prompt says so. Interactive mode keeps the full HTML file behavior per references/html-output-templates.md.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

viral-hook-generator is a skill published in the GitHub repository danielpaulai/Purely-Personal-Run-a-business-by-itself (2 stars, last pushed 29d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 132 tokens to every session and 3,005 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
