Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00038 | $0.01083 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00019 | $0.00541 |

Grade A, and why
clawql-ouroboros-workflows scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 54 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
ClawQL ouroboros workflows
When to apply
- Task requirements are ambiguous and need iterative convergence over a Seed (goal, acceptance criteria, ontology-shaped extraction).
- You want traceable lineage (
ouroboros_get_lineage_status) across generations, not only a one-off answer.
What the tools do and do not do
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
ouroboros_create_seed_from_document |
Turn document text (or pasted incident report) into a structured Seed (goal, acceptance_criteria, ontology fields, metadata.seed_id). |
ouroboros_run_evolutionary_loop |
Run Wonder / Reflect / Execute / Evaluate cycles on that Seed until maxGenerations or convergence. |
ouroboros_get_lineage_status |
Read stored generations for a seed_id (durable if Postgres-backed ouroboros DB is configured). |
They do not: call kubectl, helm, SSH, or the Kubernetes API. The default Executor only does meaningful ClawQL-internal work when the Seed includes brownfield_context.context_references entries shaped as clawql_execute or clawql_search objects (see website/src/app/ouroboros/page.mdx § Route hints). If context_references is only plain strings (e.g. a document id), execution stays a stub ("No internal tool route selected").
So: Ouroboros = spec / ontology / acceptance iteration + optional OpenAPI-routed execution. Infra triage = kubectl, logs, Helm values, cluster events — run that in parallel or first when failures are scheduler- or container-exit-driven.
Recommended workflow (skill order)
ouroboros_create_seed_from_document— SetextractedTextto the requirements doc, design notes, or a redacted paste ofkubectl describe/logs/ events if you want a durable seed anchored to the incident (not a substitute for reading those logs yourself).- If the task includes validating HTTP/OpenAPI behavior — add
context_referenceswithclawql_search/clawql_executehints (or extend the seed after step 1) so generations can drive real tool routes. ouroboros_run_evolutionary_loop— Use a smallmaxGenerationsfirst (e.g. 2–6); raise only if convergence is too weak.ouroboros_get_lineage_status— Inspectseed_idfor scores, execution blobs, and whether acceptance criteria passed per generation.- Refine constraints / acceptance criteria / hints and rerun when needed.
memory_ingest— Persist decisions, chart paths, and operator runbooks (no secrets). Link related vault titles viawikilinks.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

clawql-ouroboros-workflows is a skill published in the GitHub repository danielsmithdevelopment/ClawQL (12 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 38 tokens to every session and 1,083 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
