What is autodesk-aps-skill?

Reference guidance for connecting software to Autodesk Platform Services, Autodesk's cloud APIs for design and construction data and tools. It covers services for BIM and CAD data, 2D and 3D viewing, cloud design automation, webhooks, and related workflows.

Use it to work with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, model conversion, embedded viewers, cloud automation, webhooks, and photo-based 3D processing.

It reduces the effort of learning which Autodesk API fits a task and how its authentication and integrations work. It provides implementation context for Autodesk-connected applications.

AutoCAD: .NET ObjectARX-managed API or LISP. House rule: prefer APS cloud APIs over desktop automation unless the workflow needs the desktop app alive.
