What is model-routing?

A guide for adding model-routing instructions to a project's CLAUDE.md file, telling Claude Code which AI model to use for different kinds of work.

Adding model-picking guidance, routing tasks between models, and configuring Codex or GPT as a delegated option.

It helps organise model selection and set up GPT models through the Codex command-line tool as delegation targets or fallbacks.

Getting it into your agent
