A testing guide that checks whether each new or changed test is worth keeping. It asks what the test protects, what failure it catches, and why existing tests do not already cover it.

Use it while writing tests or auditing an existing test suite to assess coverage, avoid test-only code seams, and decide whether tests should be retained.

It reduces tests that add maintenance work without catching a meaningful regression. It also requires a regression test to fail before the code fix is made.
