lmd-subagent-driven-development

lmd-subagent-driven-development is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from dasTholo/lean-md. It costs 70 tokens per session (316 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A workflow for executing a .lmd.md implementation plan one task at a time with separate implementer and reviewer agents. It uses shared coordination memory for task briefs, reports, and handoffs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to carry out an existing implementation plan with independent tasks, per-task reviews, and a final review of the complete branch.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of treating a multi-task plan as one unchecked coding session. Each task receives review for meeting the specification and for code quality, followed by a whole-branch review.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00070 $0.00316
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00126
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00063
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

lmd-subagent-driven-development scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

lmd-subagent-driven-development (delegation stub)

Body renders one phase at a time — never read it from disk. Rendering, diagnosis and fallback: see the lmd-rendering-skills skill.

The skill executes a .lmd.md plan: one fresh implementer subagent per task, a two-verdict review (spec-compliance + code-quality) between tasks, and a whole-branch final review. Every brief, report, diff and baton moves through lean-ctx (ctx_session/ctx_knowledge/ctx_agent) — never through external SDD bash scripts or scratch-ledger files.

Phases

orient → preflight → dispatch-mode → dispatch | parallel-dispatch → review → final-review → handoff.

The dispatch/review/final-review phases compose @dispatch briefs to the three companions.

Companions

  • implementer — per-task implementation brief (TDD, self-review, escalation)
  • task-reviewer — two-verdict per-task review (spec-compliance + code-quality)
  • code-reviewer — whole-branch final review

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
