What is managed-memory?

A setup for giving an AI agent long-term memory across sessions by storing it in Databricks-managed memory storage. Databricks is a data platform, and Unity Catalog provides governance for stored data.

Use it in OpenAI Agents SDK or LangGraph agents that need durable user or task memory across sessions.

It lets an agent remember information between sessions without requiring the customer to operate separate memory infrastructure.
