Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
datarobot-connectivity-jdbc-sql scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 144 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
DataRobot JDBC SQL
DataRobot opens a JDBC connection from its own network with the URL and driver properties you send. It runs one statement and returns the rows or a status. Nothing is registered in DataRobot.
If the database is already a DataRobot data connection, use datarobot-connectivity-datastore-sql: it uses the stored credential, so the agent never handles secrets.
Prerequisites
- Auth: set both
DATAROBOT_ENDPOINT(ends in/api/v2) andDATAROBOT_API_TOKEN, or neither, in which case both come from~/.config/datarobot/drconfig.yaml. An--env-filecan also supply them. If auth fails, invokedatarobot-setup. - Python 3.9+, standard library only. Run the script by its path in this skill's folder:
python3 <skill-dir>/scripts/jdbc_sql.py. The.envstays in the user's project; pass its absolute path. - Network: DataRobot itself opens the connection, so the database must be reachable from DataRobot: its cloud on SaaS, or the customer's cluster on self-managed installs. A database reachable only from the user's machine or private network,
localhostincluded, will not work.
Secrets stay out of the chat
-
Never ask the user to paste a password, token, or key into the chat, and never echo one. Have the user put the values in a gitignored
.env, editing it in their own editor:JDBC_URL=jdbc:postgresql://<host>:5432/<db> DB_USER=<user> DB_PASSWORD=<password> -
If the user already pasted a secret, don't repeat it. Ask the user to put it in
.env, or write it there with a file edit; a shell command can leave it in logs. Recommend rotating it unless it is a published public credential. -
Pass secrets as driver properties read from the environment:
--env-file <path>/.env --param-env user=DB_USER --param-env password=DB_PASSWORD. Non-secret values can use--param key=value. Prefer properties over credentials embedded in the URL. -
--env-fileloadsKEY=VALUElines. It skips comments, strips quotes, never overrides variables that are already set, and can include DataRobot auth. Without--jdbc-url, the script readsJDBC_URL(or Talk to My Data'sJDBC_URI) together with the JSON object inJDBC_CONNECTION_PARAMETERS. With an explicit URL it uses only the properties you pass. -
Masking: all output masks secrets. A plan names each secret's source, e.g.
*** (env DB_PASSWORD). The confirm token covers the source, not the value: rotating a password in.envneeds no new approval, but switching to another variable does.
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

datarobot-connectivity-jdbc-sql is a skill published in the GitHub repository datarobot-oss/datarobot-agent-skills (32 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 181 tokens to every session and 2,624 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-16.
