openapi-mistral

openapi-mistral is a skill for Codex from davidmigloz/ai_clients_dart. It costs 34 tokens per session (448 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of openapi-chromadb, MIT.

A workflow for updating a Dart package generated from Mistral AI's OpenAPI specification. OpenAPI is a machine-readable description of a web API, and the workflow turns reviewed specification changes into package code.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to refresh the API specification, review changes, scaffold package code, promote the reviewed specification, and run verification checks.
Why use it?
It keeps the package aligned with changes to Mistral's API while providing steps to fetch, review, generate, and verify updates.

Skill for Codex

Written for Codex: agents/openai.yaml present. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents).

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is python3 .agents/shared/api-toolkit/scripts/api_toolkit.py fetch --config-dir packages/mistralai_dart/.agents/skills/openapi-mistral/config.

Good fit Use it to refresh the API specification, review changes, scaffold package code, promote the reviewed specification, and run verification checks.

Getting it into your agent

It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00034 $0.00448
Opus 5 $0.00017 $0.00224
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00090
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00045

Security

Grade A, and why

openapi-mistral scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Mistral AI OpenAPI Workflow

Prerequisites

  • Auth: No auth env vars required.
  • CLI: python3 .agents/shared/api-toolkit/scripts/api_toolkit.py
  • Existing-package commands: run the repo-relative examples from the repository root. If you run them elsewhere, invoke the script via an absolute path and pass an absolute --config-dir.

Workflow

  1. Fetch:
python3 .agents/shared/api-toolkit/scripts/api_toolkit.py fetch --config-dir packages/mistralai_dart/.agents/skills/openapi-mistral/config

Fetch writes the candidate spec to the configured output_dir as latest-<spec>.json. 2. Review:

python3 .agents/shared/api-toolkit/scripts/api_toolkit.py review --config-dir packages/mistralai_dart/.agents/skills/openapi-mistral/config
  1. Implement with scaffold plus the package references, then promote the reviewed candidate from output_dir/latest-<spec>.json into packages/mistralai_dart/specs/ before final verification.
  2. Verify:
python3 .agents/shared/api-toolkit/scripts/api_toolkit.py verify --config-dir packages/mistralai_dart/.agents/skills/openapi-mistral/config --checks all --scope all

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
