ifood

ifood is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from davidmosiah/ifood-mcp. It costs 59 tokens per session (568 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill and command-line connector for using the unofficial iFood service from an agent. It can work with restaurant orders, carts, addresses, and order history.

In plain words
What is it for?
Checking connection status, searching or inspecting iFood data, managing personal restaurant carts, and listing orders.
Why use it?
It lets the agent inspect and use iFood through available tools or commands instead of opening the app, while checkout remains blocked unless safety conditions are met.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00059 $0.00568
Opus 5 $0.00030 $0.00284
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00114
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00057

Measured 4d ago against content hash 54a6f6ed2cc2, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ifood scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

iFood — skill or MCP

Unofficial. Not the Partners merchant-api portal.

Same binary either way. Mutation gates live in the server, not in this file.

Search/home may WAF from datacenter IPs even with a home-browser JWT. That is not a 401 on a missing route.

Choose a surface

MCP — tools appear natively:

{ "mcpServers": { "ifood": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "ifood-mcp-unofficial"] } } }

Do not put mutation flags in that snippet.

Skill / CLI — no MCP client required:

npx -y ifood-mcp-unofficial doctor --json
npx -y ifood-mcp-unofficial call ifood_capabilities --json '{}'
npx -y ifood-mcp-unofficial call ifood_list_orders --json '{}'

If MCP tools named ifood_* are already available, use them. Do not also shell out.

Setup (once)

npx -y ifood-mcp-unofficial setup
npx -y ifood-mcp-unofficial auth start --email [email protected]
npx -y ifood-mcp-unofficial auth complete --code 123456 --email [email protected]

Fallback: DevTools Authorization from marketplace.ifood.com.br, then auth --from-header. Token at ~/.ifood-mcp/tokens.json (0600).

Loop

  1. ifood_connection_status (or doctor --json). Expect unofficial and never_pays_by_default.
  2. Profile / orders / search as asked. Street, phone, GPS stay redacted.
  3. “O pedido saiu?” → ifood_list_active_orders then ifood_track_order / ifood_get_order_eta. Dedicated tracking URLs 404; these read the live order.
  4. Stop before checkout. Do not call ifood_checkout unless the user clearly asked to place this order. If the tool returns USER_ACTION_REQUIRED, report that and stop. Do not invent env flags.

Never

  • Enable mutations from this skill
  • Paste tokens into git, chat logs, or the prompt
  • Treat WAF HTML as a missing tool

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
