A command-line tool for inspecting and controlling the macOS screen, apps, windows, menus, and other interface elements. It can capture images or video, find targets, and perform actions such as clicks, drags, and keyboard shortcuts.

Use it to take screenshots, inspect open apps and windows, check macOS accessibility permissions, automate interface actions, and run saved automation scripts.

It lets an agent or script work with graphical macOS applications when no direct programmatic interface is available. Permission checks and JSON output support automation and troubleshooting.

Peekaboo

Peekaboo is a full macOS UI automation CLI: capture/inspect screens, target UI elements, drive input, and manage apps/windows/menus. Commands share a snapshot cache and support --json/-j for scripting. Run peekaboo or peekaboo <cmd> --help for flags; peekaboo --version prints build metadata.
