What is remote-splat?

A workflow for turning long capture videos into reviewable clips and ordered modeling frames, then using a private RTX 5090 desktop for COLMAP or Gaussian-splat jobs. COLMAP builds 3D information from photographs, while Gaussian splatting creates a viewable 3D scene from image data.

Use it to prepare video and photo data, run approved 3D reconstruction jobs, monitor them through tmux, and retrieve .sog or .ply artifacts.

It organizes a video-to-3D process and supports monitoring, validation, and retrieval of the resulting files.
