ai-agent-skills: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/camel-matrix/SKILL.md

camel-matrix is a skill for Claude Code from dboeckli/ai-agent-skills. It costs 79 tokens per session (355 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A script-based tool that creates an AsciiDoc table showing which versions of Apache Camel Spring Boot, Spring Boot, and Apache CXF work together. AsciiDoc is a plain-text format for technical documentation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to generate or update a Camel compatibility matrix in the project's target directory, including the latest processed rows for verification.
Why use it?
It removes the need to research and maintain compatibility combinations manually. You can also limit the version range being checked.

Skill for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} variable.

This is dboeckli/ai-agent-skills's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on ai-agent-skills itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything ai-agent-skills configures →

Runs only inside its plugin — its command needs a path that Claude Code sets for a plugin’s own hooks and for nothing else. Install the plugin, not this.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00079 $0.00355
Opus 5 $0.00039 $0.00178
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00036

Measured 10d ago against content hash 264804dab060, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

camel-matrix scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/camel-springboot-matrix.sh), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Camel Spring Boot Compatibility Matrix

Run scripts/camel-springboot-matrix.sh (bundled in this skill) to generate target/camel-springboot-matrix.adoc relative to the current project directory. The target/ directory is created automatically if it does not exist.

Arguments

The user may provide an optional version range: $ARGUMENTS

  • No arguments: use the default range 4.14.0 to latest (see below)
  • Two arguments (e.g. 4.0.0 4.15.0): only versions in that range are processed

Steps

  1. Run the script. If no version range is given by the user, default to 4.14.0 as minimum and omit the max argument (so the script fetches up to the latest available version):
bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/camel-springboot-matrix.sh" ${ARGUMENTS:-4.14.0}
  1. After completion, report:
    • How many Camel versions were processed
    • That target/camel-springboot-matrix.adoc was created/updated in the current project directory
    • The last 5 rows of the generated table so the user can verify the output
Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
