Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00116 | $0.00968 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00058 | $0.00484 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00023 | $0.00194 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00012 | $0.00097 |
Grade A, and why
check-ats-view scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 85 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
check-ats-view — the read-only "what the ATS sees" report
Surfaces the ATS-view projection of a resume (RIT-I-0017): the sections, entities, and zoned keywords an applicant-tracking system is likely to parse. It is a read-only analysis view — the counterpart to the check-* family — and it never edits the resume. It is job-independent: it reports no keyword coverage against a job and no composite/overall ATS score.
Prerequisites
Run the shared Prerequisites gate first — see
../_shared/prerequisites.md.
- Required input: a
ResumeDocumentJSON — normally therefine(orstructure/base) version once baselining has run, or theactive_resumepointer inresume-kit/config.json(or an explicit resume JSON path the caller passes). - Does NOT need a job. This view is job-independent; do not require or read a
JobDescription. - If the resume JSON is missing (no
active_resume, file absent, or a raw PDF/DOCX where aResumeDocumentJSON is required): STOP. Do not guess and do not run on partial input. Tell the caller: runparse-resumefirst to produce theResumeDocumentJSON, then re-run this skill.
What it does
Runs the deterministic ats-view capability, which projects a ScoreDoc for
the resume and returns an AtsViewReport. Present it as "here is what an ATS
parser sees in your resume":
- Detected sections — the canonical sections segmented from the resume, in order, each with its keyword zone.
- Extracted entities — name / contact / links, each role's title / company / dates and the total years of experience computed from them, and degrees.
- Zoned keyword breakdown — the detected keyword tokens grouped by ScoreDoc
zone (e.g.
summary,experience,skills_list,education).
Years-of-experience is computed against a reference date. For roles with an
open end date ("Present"), pass the caller-supplied date via --now so YoE is
deterministic; when omitted the capability uses a fixed default.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

check-ats-view is a skill published in the GitHub repository dcassil/resume-kit (0 stars, last pushed 27d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 116 tokens to every session and 968 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
