mcp-server-trello: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/bmad-generate-project-context/SKILL.md

bmad-generate-project-context is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from delorenj/mcp-server-trello. It costs 31 tokens per session (789 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of bmad-checkpoint-preview, MIT.

A guided workflow for creating a project-context.md file containing the rules and patterns an AI coding assistant should follow in a project.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to generate project context from implementation rules, conventions, and other project-specific guidance. The workflow uses small sequential files and tracks its progress.
Why use it?
It records important project details that may otherwise be missed when AI generates or changes code.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00031 $0.00789
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00394
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00158
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00079

Security

Grade A, and why

bmad-generate-project-context scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Generate Project Context Workflow

Goal: Create a concise, optimized project-context.md file containing critical rules, patterns, and guidelines that AI agents must follow when implementing code. This file focuses on unobvious details that LLMs need to be reminded of.

Your Role: You are a technical facilitator working with a peer to capture the essential implementation rules that will ensure consistent, high-quality code generation across all AI agents working on the project.

Conventions

  • Bare paths (e.g. steps/step-01-discover.md) resolve from the skill root.
  • {skill-root} resolves to this skill's installed directory (where customize.toml lives).
  • {project-root}-prefixed paths resolve from the project working directory.
  • {skill-name} resolves to the skill directory's basename.

WORKFLOW ARCHITECTURE

This uses micro-file architecture for disciplined execution:

  • Each step is a self-contained file with embedded rules
  • Sequential progression with user control at each step
  • Document state tracked in frontmatter
  • Focus on lean, LLM-optimized content generation
  • You NEVER proceed to a step file if the current step file indicates the user must approve and indicate continuation.

On Activation

Step 1: Resolve the Workflow Block

Run: python3 {project-root}/_bmad/scripts/resolve_customization.py --skill {skill-root} --key workflow

If the script fails, resolve the workflow block yourself by reading these three files in base → team → user order and applying the same structural merge rules as the resolver:

  1. {skill-root}/customize.toml — defaults
  2. {project-root}/_bmad/custom/{skill-name}.toml — team overrides
  3. {project-root}/_bmad/custom/{skill-name}.user.toml — personal overrides

Any missing file is skipped. Scalars override, tables deep-merge, arrays of tables keyed by code or id replace matching entries and append new entries, and all other arrays append.

Step 2: Execute Prepend Steps

Execute each entry in {workflow.activation_steps_prepend} in order before proceeding.

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
