deploi-ops

deploi-ops is a skill for Claude Code from Deploi-Cloud/deploi-agent-skills. It costs 154 tokens per session (2,292 once invoked), scanned D, original, MIT.

Guidance for managing applications and services after creating a Deploi VPS, a virtual private server.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps deploy applications, configure domains, DNS, SSL/HTTPS, firewalls, monitoring, databases, email services, billing, and server restarts.
Why use it?
It provides a defined process for routine server operations instead of handling deployment and administration ad hoc.

Skill for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: shipped in a Claude Code plugin.

Not installable: its command points at a path on the author’s own machine, so it runs nowhere else. The line is /home/cursor/apps/<app-name>/.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00154 $0.02292
Opus 5 $0.00077 $0.01146
Sonnet 5 $0.00031 $0.00458
Haiku 4.5 $0.00015 $0.00229

Security

Grade D, and why

deploi-ops scanned grade D with 3 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Asks for rootmediumPrivilege escalation

A mod that escalates privileges can change anything on the machine, not only the project.

- `deploi-servers.json` for server access (IP, username, per-server sudo password)

Reaches for credential fileshighPrivilege escalation

SSH keys, cloud credentials, git-credentials, .npmrc, /etc/shadow: reading these is how a config file becomes a credential leak.

- **Auth:** SSH key (`~/.ssh/id_ed25519`) — password login disabled

Makes network callslowCapability

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

- **curl is blocked** by the API — all API calls must use the Node.js helper pattern

 ◇   ◇       deploi.no
  ◇ ◇

This skill handles everything after server creation: deploying apps, domains & DNS, SSL/HTTPS, firewalls, monitoring, databases, and all server administration on Deploi VPS.

Prerequisites:

  • .env with DEPLOI_USERNAME and DEPLOI_ACCOUNT_PASSWORD (Deploi account login)
  • deploi-servers.json for server access (IP, username, per-server sudo password)

If .env is missing, refer user to deploi-server skill or kundepanel.deploi.no. If deploi-servers.json is missing, the user needs to create a server first via the deploi-server skill.

Credentials source:

  • API auth: .envDEPLOI_USERNAME + DEPLOI_ACCOUNT_PASSWORD
  • Server sudo password: deploi-servers.json → per-server password field (NOT .env)

API Foundations

Endpoint: https://api.deploi.no — all commands use HTTP POST requests with a JSON body.

Node.js API Helper

node -e "
const https = require('https');
const data = JSON.stringify(<PAYLOAD>);
const req = https.request('https://api.deploi.no', {
  method: 'POST',
  headers: { 'Content-Type': 'application/json', 'Content-Length': Buffer.byteLength(data) }
}, (res) => {
  let body = '';
  res.on('data', c => body += c);
  res.on('end', () => console.log(body));
});
req.write(data);
req.end();
"

Authentication

Read DEPLOI_USERNAME and DEPLOI_ACCOUNT_PASSWORD from .env, then:

{ "command": "Login", "username": "<email>", "password": "<password>" }

Extract data.token and data.clients[0].id from the response. Use these for all authenticated calls.

If any API call returns messageId: 41 ("Not logged in"), the token has expired — re-authenticate.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

deploi-ops is a skill published in the GitHub repository Deploi-Cloud/deploi-agent-skills (6 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 154 tokens to every session and 2,292 once invoked, about $0.0008 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it D with 3 findings (asks for root, reaches for credential files, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
