x-bookmark-quote-posts

x-bookmark-quote-posts is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from devinilabs/pro-skill. It costs 79 tokens per session (1,967 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of x-bookmark-quote-posts, MIT.

A workflow for turning saved posts on X, formerly Twitter, into drafts for quote posts. It studies the user's latest 100 published posts so the drafts match their established writing style.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps review recent X bookmarks, select posts worth responding to, and prepare dated quote-post drafts without publishing them.
Why use it?
It removes the need to review bookmarks and invent replies manually while keeping the drafts grounded in the user's own voice and sources.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00079 $0.01967
Opus 5 $0.00039 $0.00983
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00393
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00197

Measured 5d ago against content hash d3f625cc3bb8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

x-bookmark-quote-posts scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

X Bookmark Quote Posts

Overview

Turn a user's latest X bookmarks into a dated quote-post queue. The output should feel like a specific person or brand thinking in public from lived experience, not like generic AI commentary.

Start

Work from the current content repo unless the user names another repo. If no repo is active, ask for the target workspace before writing files.

Before collecting:

  • Read AGENTS.md, if present or supplied in the prompt.
  • Check git status --short early. Content workspaces are often dirty; keep changes scoped.
  • Read the latest existing bookmark quote-post file for continuity when one exists. Common locations include data/x-growth/bookmark-quote-posts/*.md, data/x/bookmark-quote-posts/*.md, or a user-specified content queue. Do not use generated drafts as the primary voice source.
  • Use the Codex in-app browser only for X. Do not use Chrome.
  • Do not post, reply, quote, like, retweet, DM, follow, or mutate X in any way.

If X is logged out, CAPTCHA-blocked, or the in-app browser cannot attach, stop and report the exact blocker. Ask the user to sign in only when the browser session requires it.

Calibrate Voice From 100 Posts

Calibrate before collecting bookmarks. Identify the target account from the request or active X profile, then open the account and X's Latest search:

https://x.com/<handle>
https://x.com/search?q=from%3A<handle>&src=typed_query&f=live

Collect the latest 100 authored posts when X exposes enough history. Include original posts, replies, and quote posts; exclude pure reposts written by someone else. For each post, retain:

  • authored post URL and timestamp
  • full authored text
  • whether it is a reply and whether it contains a quoted source
  • quoted source URL for quote posts
  • whether the timeline text was truncated

Expand every truncated authored post directly. If X prevents complete expansion, report the incomplete count instead of silently treating fragments as full posts. Do not confuse quoted-source text with the user's own text. If fewer than 100 authored posts are available, use all available posts and report the actual sample size and date range.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
