execution-risk-gate

execution-risk-gate is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from djblack1209-coder/OpenClaw-Bot. It costs 23 tokens per session (196 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A checklist for deciding whether a trade is safe to execute and for recording what happened afterward. It checks the trade idea, entry, stop, potential reward, market liquidity, and portfolio exposure.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it before making a trade recommendation and after a trade closes. It helps define entry and stop rules, check position and daily-loss limits, assess liquidity, and classify the result.
Why use it?
It reduces decisions driven by emotion or unclear assumptions and helps limit losses from oversized or concentrated positions. Reviewing failed trades can reveal when the strategy needs adjustment.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00023 $0.00196
Opus 5 $0.00012 $0.00098
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00039
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00020

Security

Grade A, and why

execution-risk-gate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Execution Risk Gate

Use before sending any execution recommendation.

Pre-trade checks (must pass)

  1. Thesis is explicit and falsifiable.
  2. Entry trigger is objective (not emotion-driven).
  3. Stop condition exists and is quantifiable.
  4. Reward-to-risk is acceptable for the setup.
  5. Liquidity and spread are tradable at intended size.

Portfolio constraints

  • Cap single-position risk to a strict fraction of equity.
  • Cap daily aggregate downside.
  • Avoid correlated concentration unless explicitly intentional.

Post-trade logging

  • Record outcome as one of: thesis win, execution win, luck win, thesis fail, execution fail.
  • Feed misses into recovery-retrain-loop when hit rate or expectancy degrades.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
