Getting it into your agent
It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00085 | $0.00928 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00043 | $0.00464 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00017 | $0.00186 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00009 | $0.00093 |
Grade A, and why
creative-offer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 70 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Creative — Offer Explorer
Make the OFFER the hero. Every visual decision serves one goal: a viewer understands the value and the reason to act now within two seconds. This is merchandising, not branding — clarity of value beats aesthetic flourish.
When to use
- There's a concrete offer to push: discount, bundle, free trial, guarantee, limited drop.
- Promo/sale creative, pricing-page hero, launch banner, email header.
- The message is "here's the deal", not "here's who we are".
When NOT to use
- Testing many message angles broadly →
creative-ads-explorer. - No offer yet, just brand look →
creative-explore/creative-moodboard. - Showing the product in use →
creative-scene.
Inputs (ask only what's missing — and never invent these)
- The exact offer: anchor price → deal price, what's included, bonus, guarantee terms, deadline.
- Product + audience.
- Locked visual direction if available.
If any number or term is unknown, ASK. Fabricating a price or guarantee is a hard fail.
Workflow
- Decompose the offer into value units: anchor vs deal price, bundle items (count matters — visible items = perceived stack), guarantee, bonus, urgency cue.
- Pick a merchandising layout per concept: stacked-value, bundle-flatlay, before/after-value, guarantee-forward, countdown-urgency, price-anchor-strikethrough.
- Write 3-5 concepts: headline (the offer in ≤8 words), visual prompt, the value cue it leans on, CTA.
- Generate with your image tool. Keep any price/tagline text crisp and legible at thumbnail size; pass it verbatim. Save to
./creative/offer/<concept>.png. - Rank by clarity-of-value and recommend the clearest.
Worked example
Offer: course bundle, normally $400, now $149, +free templates, 30-day guarantee, ends Friday.
## Concept "Stacked Value"
headline: "$400 of training — yours for $149"
visual: vertical stack of 4 module cards + "BONUS: templates" tab, strikethrough $400 → $149
value cue: anchor contrast makes the discount feel large
CTA: Get the bundle
[ref: ./creative/offer/stacked-value.png]
## Concept "Guarantee-Forward"
headline: "Love it or your money back"
visual: bold 30-day badge center, course thumbnail behind, calm palette
value cue: removes risk → lowers purchase friction
CTA: Try risk-free
[ref: ./creative/offer/guarantee.png]
Recommendation: "Stacked Value" for cold traffic (value clarity); "Guarantee" for warm/hesitant. → winners to creative-polish.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

creative-offer is a skill published in the GitHub repository DKeken/codex-skills-alternative (15 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 85 tokens to every session and 928 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
