build-content

build-content is a skill for Claude Code from dr-robert-li/cowork-wordpress-expert. It costs 32 tokens per session (6,187 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A build step that fills a WordPress website with sample pages, posts, menus, plugins, and images after its theme is installed. WordPress is software for managing website content without editing every page by hand.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when preparing a WordPress site from a natural-language description, after building the theme and before creating the final installation package.
Why use it?
It provides realistic content for checking how the finished theme looks and behaves. It also saves the added content in the site's database export.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00032 $0.06187
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.03093
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.01237
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00619

Security

Grade A, and why

build-content scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 581 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Build Content Skill

Seeds a WordPress installation (with FSE theme already active from build-theme) with relevant plugins, realistic placeholder content, navigation menus, and placeholder images — then re-exports the database to capture all changes in the SQL dump.

Critical sequencing: This skill runs AFTER build-theme (theme must be active for menu location discovery) and BEFORE build-setup (which finalises the zip). The Docker MySQL container from build-scaffold must still be running for the duration of this skill.

This skill expects the following variables to already be set by the calling command:

  • BUILD_DIR — absolute path to the build directory (set by build-scaffold Section 2)
  • WP — the WP-CLI command prefix (e.g., wp --path=$BUILD_DIR or the Docker equivalent, set by build-scaffold Section 4)
  • NL_PROMPT — the user's natural language site description string
  • SITE_TITLE — site title derived from the NL prompt (set by the calling command)
  • THEME_SLUG — installed theme slug (set by build-theme)
  • THEME_NAME — theme display name (set by build-theme)
  • THEME_VERSION — theme version string (set by build-theme)
  • THEME_INSTALLED — true/false (set by build-theme)
  • PLUGIN_DIR — absolute path to the CoWork plugin directory (set by the calling command)

Section 1: Plugin Selection and Installation

Claude analyses NL_PROMPT to determine which free WP.org plugins are relevant for the site type. A curated category baseline provides starting candidates; Claude adds or removes entries based on the specific NL description. Up to 10 plugins maximum — if more are selected, trim to the highest-relevance set before installing.

Curated category baseline (starting candidates by site type):

photography / portfolio / creative → wpforms-lite (contact form)
restaurant / food / cafe → wpforms-lite (reservations/contact)
business / corporate / agency → wpforms-lite (contact form)
blog / magazine / news → wpforms-lite (contact form)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

build-content is a skill published in the GitHub repository dr-robert-li/cowork-wordpress-expert (28 stars, last pushed 6mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 32 tokens to every session and 6,187 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
