conversational-ui-copy

conversational-ui-copy is a skill for Claude Code from Dragoon0x/everything-design-taste. It costs 20 tokens per session (270 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to writing the personality, responses, and conversation flow of a chatbot or AI assistant. It covers greetings, clarifying questions, fallback replies, human handoff, and confirmation before actions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to define bot tone, short replies, structured choices, error handling, support handoffs, and confirmations for actions such as cancellations.
Why use it?
It helps assistants communicate clearly without pretending to be human. It also gives users a way to reach a person when the bot cannot help.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00020 $0.00270
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.00135
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00054
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00027

Measured 7d ago against content hash 1c1dafd66cf8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

conversational-ui-copy scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Conversational Ui Copy

Bot Personality

Define Before Building

  • Name (or no name — both are valid choices).
  • Pronouns (I/we/the system).
  • Formality level.
  • Humor tolerance.
  • Emoji usage.

Conversation Patterns

  • Greeting: Brief, purposeful. "Hi! I can help you find a product, check an order, or answer questions."
  • Clarification: "I want to make sure I understand. Are you asking about X or Y?"
  • Fallback: "I'm not sure about that. Let me connect you with someone who can help."
  • Handoff: "I'll transfer you to our support team. They'll see our conversation so you won't need to repeat anything."

Rules

  1. Don't pretend to be human. Be transparent about being a bot.
  2. Provide escape hatch: "Talk to a person" always available.
  3. Keep messages short. 1-3 sentences per response.
  4. Use structured choices (buttons) alongside free text.
  5. Confirm before taking actions: "I'll cancel your order. Sound right?")
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
