What is zone-alignment?

A projection-mapping toolset for BEYOND that adjusts the shape and position of projected images. It supports zone geometry, where each zone is a selected projection area, including rotation and corrections for angled or curved surfaces.

Selecting projection zones, changing their position and size, rotating them, applying keystone and other shape corrections, adjusting corner points, and aligning multiple zones.

It helps correct distorted or misaligned projections when several projectors or surfaces must line up.

Use this skill when the operator needs to adjust zone geometry — position, size, rotation, keystone, or other geometric corrections for projection mapping.

Workflow

Select the target zone.
- zone_setup_select with the zone index
- Or navigate with zone_setup_next_zone / zone_setup_prev_zone
Set basic geometry.

Apply geometric corrections (if needed).

Keystone — correct for projector angle
Pincushion/bow — correct for lens distortion
Linearity/symmetry — fine geometric tuning
Shear — final skew correction
Corner points — pixel-level precision
