- Voice cloning requires the current consent contract. Never synthesize a liveness or consent phrase and never clone an unregistered person.
Capability drift
Discover the current cap before invocation. As of the recorded integration, local STT is registered, while the documented generic echo.voice.speak alias was not returned by the live cap list. Fail closed to Echo Desktop/local playback until that registration is verified; do not claim spoken output without an audio artifact or playback receipt.
Stop conditions
Stop on missing consent, uncertain speaker rights, private audio outside scope, unavailable local synthesis with no approved fallback, or a voice-floor denial. Preserve the text result so the workflow remains useful.
Output format
Report the input source, transcription or spoken text, provider path, persona, artifact or playback receipt, and any degraded or blocked stage.
