Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00028 | $0.01037 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00415 |

Grade A, and why
release scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 138 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Release Process
Releases go through a branch + PR (because main is protected), then a tag push
triggers the GitHub Actions release workflow (cargo-dist) that builds
cross-platform binaries and creates a GitHub Release.
Prerequisites
Before releasing, verify:
- All tests pass:
cargo test --features testing-mocks
cargo clippy --all-targets --features testing-mocks -- -D warnings
just fmt-check
- Main branch is clean and up to date:
git checkout main && git pull
git status # must be clean
git log --oneline -5 # review recent commits
- CI is green on the latest commit:
gh run list --limit 1
Making a release
Step 1: Create release branch
git checkout -b release/v<version> main
Step 2: Bump version and changelog
Use cog bump with --skip-push (since we can't push directly to main):
cog bump --<level> --skip-push # or --auto --skip-push
This will:
- Bump the version in
Cargo.toml - Generate/update
CHANGELOG.mdfrom conventional commits - Create a bump commit
- Create a git tag
v<new_version>
If cog bump doesn't support --skip-push, do it manually:
- Edit
Cargo.tomlversion field - Run
cog changelog > CHANGELOG.md(or update manually) - Commit:
git commit -am "chore(release): v<version>"
Step 3: Push branch and create PR
git push -u origin release/v<version>
gh pr create --title "chore(release): v<version>" --body "Version bump and changelog for v<version>"
Wait for CI to pass, then merge the PR.
Step 4: Tag and push
After the PR is merged, tag main and push the tag:
git checkout main && git pull
git tag v<version>
git push origin v<version>
The tag push triggers .github/workflows/release.yml, which builds binaries for
macOS, Linux, and Windows, and creates a GitHub Release.

--major |
0.1.0 → 1.0.0 | Breaking changes |
--minor --pre rc |
0.1.0 → 0.2.0-rc.1 | Release candidate |
--auto |
(auto-detected) | Let commits decide |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

release is a skill published in the GitHub repository edochi/mdvs (27 stars, last pushed 11d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 28 tokens to every session and 1,037 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-05.
