blucli

blucli is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from elizaOS/eliza. It costs 64 tokens per session (321 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command-line controller for Bluesound and NAD speakers, including discovery, playback, volume, grouping, and TuneIn radio search. Multi-room audio means several speakers can play together as one group.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to find speakers, check their status, play or stop audio, set volume, group or ungroup players, and search or play TuneIn radio.
Why use it?
It avoids controlling each speaker through separate app screens and makes speaker actions usable in scripts. It also helps confirm the target speaker before changing playback.

About the project

elizaOS is an open-source TypeScript framework and product stack for building and running autonomous AI agents. Developers use its runtime, application, command-line tool, cloud services, native bridges, and plugins to create agent-based software. The catalogue entries provide skills, commands, instructions, and rules for working with this monorepo and its agent ecosystem.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00064 $0.00321
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.00161
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00064
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

blucli scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

blucli (blu)

Use blu to control Bluesound/NAD players.

Quick start

  • blu devices (pick target)
  • blu --device <id> status
  • blu play|pause|stop
  • blu volume set 15

Target selection (in priority order)

  • --device <id|name|alias>
  • BLU_DEVICE
  • config default (if set)

Common tasks

  • Grouping: blu group status|add|remove
  • TuneIn search/play: blu tunein search "query", blu tunein play "query"

Prefer --json for scripts. Confirm the target device before changing playback.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
