Getting it into your agent
This one installs as part of its plugin. Adding the marketplace and installing the plugin brings it with everything else the plugin ships.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

Grade A, and why
cpv-standardize-plugin scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts

Standardize Plugin / Marketplace
Overview
Audits existing plugin or marketplace repositories against CPV standards and auto-fixes missing files, workflows, and hooks.
Profile-aware. The standardize flow first resolves the plugin's pipeline profile (scripts/cpv_pipeline_profile.py's resolve_pipeline_profile() — manifest cpv.pipeline_profile overrides; fails safe to standard), then generates/expects the PROFILE-APPROPRIATE templates. Do NOT migrate a non-standard plugin to the plain standard shape: a remote-validation plugin keeps its remote cpv-remote-validate gate (no re-vendored validators), a submodule-build plugin keeps its build-source submodule + shipped bin/ and submodule-aware publish.py, and a binary-release plugin keeps its SHA-pinned, least-privilege build/release workflow (SHA256SUMS + build matrix). The profile is a SELECTOR not a SUPPRESSOR — drift findings still fire against the profile's canon.

uvon PATH- CPV plugin installed
- Target repository accessible on disk
Instructions
-
Audit a Plugin:
uv run --with pyyaml python "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/remote_validation.py" standardize <plugin-path> [--report report.md]Checks: 190+ validation rules, pipeline readiness, file inventory, .gitignore, README badges.
-
Fix a Plugin (generates missing files, does NOT modify existing code):
uv run --with pyyaml python "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/remote_validation.py" standardize <plugin-path> --fix [--dry-run] -
After --fix, manually fix remaining issues:
- Under
--force-templates(the canon UPGRADE verb, NOT plain--fix), ALL agents are migrated to cpv-the-skills-menu: each agent's frontmatterskills:is rewritten to[cpv-the-skills-menu](every other field preserved) and the mandatory dynamic-loading instruction is inserted into its body; a per-pluginskills/cpv-the-skills-menu/SKILL.mdcatalog is created if absent (reusing the scaffold generator so it is byte-identical). The migration is idempotent (re-running is a no-op) and skips + reports any agent file lacking YAML frontmatter — see thecpv-the-skills-menu-createskill for the canonical rewrite rules. Plain--fixnever touches an agent. - Markdown-poison guardrail: after editing any
.md, reword a line-start#/+/*prose continuation (markdownlint MD018/MD004 NIT blocks--strict). - .gitignore gaps, SKILL.md missing Nixtla sections, README badges, MINOR/NIT issues
- Pre-push hook blocks on CRITICAL, MAJOR, MINOR, NIT — only WARNINGs pass
- Empirical-loading-bugs MAJORs (added 2026-04-18) need manual fixes — see

What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

cpv-standardize-plugin is a skill published in the GitHub repository Emasoft/claude-plugins-validation (4 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 47 tokens to every session and 1,924 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
