What is publish-package?

A workflow for preparing, testing, documenting, and verifying npm releases for a repository. npm is a package registry used to publish and install JavaScript and Node.js packages.

Use it to bump versions, publish through GitHub Actions with OIDC authentication, push tags, and perform post-publish checks.

It organizes the release steps and checks needed before and after publishing a package.
