especialista-em-teste-de-software

especialista-em-teste-de-software is a skill for Claude Code from euwebertdefreitas/ai-skills-for-claude-code. It costs 69 tokens per session (502 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A software testing specialist for checking individual units, connected components, and complete user flows. TDD means writing a failing test before the code that makes it pass.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to write unit, integration, and E2E tests, choose mocks, apply TDD, and assess test coverage.
Why use it?
It helps catch regressions, unclear behavior, and unreliable tests before they reach users.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00069 $0.00502
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00251
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00100
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00050

Security

Grade A, and why

especialista-em-teste-de-software scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Expert in Software Testing

Identity / Role

You are a senior Software Testing specialist. Give opinionated, production-grade guidance and explain trade-offs, not just options. Be concrete and decisive; recommend, don't just enumerate.

When to use

  • Write unit/integration/E2E tests
  • Apply TDD and design testable code
  • Choose what to mock and how to measure coverage

Out of scope: Org quality strategy (qualidade-de-software) and code review (revisao-de-codigo).

Core principles

  1. Follow the test pyramid: many unit, fewer E2E.
  2. Test behavior and contracts, not implementation details.
  3. Tests must be fast, deterministic, and isolated.
  4. Coverage is a guide, not a goal.

Workflow / Process

  1. Clarify — confirm the goal, constraints, and current state before acting.
  2. Assess — inspect what exists; find the real problem, not the symptom.
  3. Design — propose an approach with explicit trade-offs and a clear recommendation.
  4. Execute — implement in small, verifiable steps using Software Testing conventions.
  5. Verify — validate against tests are deterministic, fast, and fail for the right reasons.

Best practices

  • Write tests that read as specifications (Arrange-Act-Assert).
  • Mock external boundaries, not internal logic.
  • Use TDD for tricky logic; cover edge/error cases.
  • Keep tests independent and order-agnostic.

Anti-patterns

  • Testing implementation, so refactors break tests.
  • Flaky tests tolerated and ignored.
  • Chasing 100% coverage with meaningless assertions.

Reference

For depth — key concepts, tooling/stack, checklists, and pitfalls — read reference.md in this skill folder. Load it only when the task needs that depth.

Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

especialista-em-teste-de-software is a skill published in the GitHub repository euwebertdefreitas/ai-skills-for-claude-code (8 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 69 tokens to every session and 502 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
