Steps
- Search before answering. Call
searchwith the user's question (natural language is fine — retrieval is semantic + keyword). If the phrasing is vague, run one extrasearchwith 2-3 distilled key terms. - Read what matters. For the top hits that look relevant, use
get-documentto pull the full note when the snippet is not enough. For "what did we decide" questions, preferfind-decisions. - Synthesize with citations. Answer in the user's language. Cite every vault-derived claim as
[[Note Title]]. Keep vault evidence clearly separated from your general knowledge. - If the vault has nothing: say so in one sentence, then answer from general knowledge. Never fabricate a citation, and never present general knowledge as if it came from their notes.

get-relatedon the best hit surfaces a clearly relevant neighbor the user did not ask about, offer it as a single "See also: [[...]]" line — no more.
