Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00022 | $0.01655 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00011 | $0.00827 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00004 | $0.00331 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00002 | $0.00166 |
Grade A, and why
msal-authentication scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 266 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
MSAL Authentication
Microsoft Authentication Library patterns for React/SPA applications with Microsoft Entra ID. Staleness Watch: See
EXTERNAL-API-REGISTRY.mdfor source URLs and recheck cadence
Version: 1.0.0
Core Concepts
Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) handles authentication with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). It manages:
- Token acquisition and caching
- Silent token renewal
- Redirect/popup authentication flows
- Multi-tenant and B2B scenarios
Package Versions
{
"@azure/msal-browser": "^5.0.0",
"@azure/msal-react": "^3.0.0"
}
Configuration
Basic MSAL Configuration
import { Configuration, PublicClientApplication, LogLevel } from '@azure/msal-browser';
export const msalConfig: Configuration = {
auth: {
clientId: import.meta.env.VITE_ENTRA_CLIENT_ID,
authority: 'https://login.microsoftonline.com/common', // Multi-tenant
redirectUri: window.location.origin,
postLogoutRedirectUri: window.location.origin,
navigateToLoginRequestUrl: true,
},
cache: {
cacheLocation: 'localStorage', // Persist across tabs
storeAuthStateInCookie: false, // Not needed for modern browsers
},
system: {
loggerOptions: {
logLevel: import.meta.env.DEV ? LogLevel.Verbose : LogLevel.Warning,
},
},
};
export const msalInstance = new PublicClientApplication(msalConfig);
Redirect URI Gotchas (Azure Static Web Apps)
When using redirectUri: window.location.origin, you must register redirect URIs for every hostname the SPA is served from:
- Custom domains (e.g.,
https://portal.example.com) - The SWA default hostname (e.g.,
https://<app>.<region>.azurestaticapps.net)
If the app loads (HTTP 200) but auth fails, verify the deployed bundle contains the real client ID (not a build-time placeholder).
Authority Patterns
| Authority | Use Case |
|---|---|
https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant-id} |
Single-tenant |
https://login.microsoftonline.com/common |
Multi-tenant (any Entra ID) |
https://login.microsoftonline.com/organizations |
Work/school accounts only |
https://login.microsoftonline.com/consumers |
Personal accounts only |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

msal-authentication is a skill published in the GitHub repository fabioc-aloha/Alex_Skill_Mall (4 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 22 tokens to every session and 1,655 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
