A structured lookup tool for finding OVP sources, content collections, claims, processing runs, tags, and entities. It filters indexed records by fields such as type, status, date, tag, or entity.

Use it to inventory records, find claims from a date or tag, inspect processing runs, or look up material tied to a particular entity.

It is more precise than a general text search when you know what kind of record or filter you need. It narrows results to a short list instead of scanning every matching passage.

Use the ovp2 MCP find tool to query the index: sources, packs, claims, runs, tags, entities.

When to use

“What sources/packs/claims match X?”
Filter by kind, status, date prefix, tag, or entity id
Prefer precision; use search for free-form full-text
