Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00092 $0.04510
Opus 5 $0.00046 $0.02255
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00902
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00451

Security

Grade A, and why

creative-flow-and-inspiration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Flow and Inspiration

You cannot catch lightning. But you can stand in the field where storms gather, at the hour when the air turns electric, wearing the right shoes, holding the right rod. The text's approach to creative inspiration operates on precisely this principle: "While we can't command a lightning bolt's arrival, we can control the space around it. We accomplish this by preparing beforehand and honoring our obligation to it afterward." This is not mysticism dressed in studio jargon. It is a pragmatic philosophy about preparing the conditions under which breakthrough ideas are most likely to arrive -- and doing the unglamorous work that follows when they do. Csikszentmihalyi's flow-state research (see flow-state) maps the neurochemistry and structural conditions for sustained deep performance. the book's contribution is different in kind: not the science of flow but the lived practice of courtship with the unpredictable. Where Csikszentmihalyi provides the thermostat, the text teaches you to read the weather.

The Framework

the book's philosophy of creative inspiration is not a linear method. It is a constellation of interrelated practices that, taken together, constitute a way of being rather than a way of doing. Seven dimensions form the constellation.

1. Inspiration -- Emptying to Receive

The Latin root of "inspiration" -- inspirare, to breathe in -- contains the entire philosophy. "For the lungs to draw in air, they must first be emptied. For the mind to draw inspiration, it wants space to welcome the new." Inspiration is not something the entrepreneur generates through effort. It is something that enters when space has been cleared.

The practical implication is counterintuitive. The founder buried under Slack messages, investor updates, and sprint reviews has no empty space for new ideas to occupy. the text recommends "practices of quieting the mind: meditation, awareness, silence, contemplation" -- not as wellness initiatives but as instruments of creative production. The vacancy draws the muse.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
