Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00101 | $0.03112 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00051 | $0.01556 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00020 | $0.00622 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00311 |
Grade A, and why
persuasion-and-influence scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 181 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Persuasion and Influence in Practice
INVISIBLE FORCE. The leader who wins arguments they never appear to have is not manipulative -- they are observant. They notice that the CFO crosses her arms when numbers are presented without context. They register that the head of engineering responds to peer endorsement more readily than to executive mandate. They sense when a room's emotional temperature has shifted from receptive to defensive, and they adjust -- not their position, but their delivery -- in the space between two sentences. This is not the psychology of persuasion as academic taxonomy. This is persuasion as a daily leadership practice: the granular, often invisible work of moving people toward decisions they would have reached themselves, given enough time and the right information.
The theoretical architecture of influence -- Cialdini's seven principles, Fisher and Ury's principled negotiation -- exists elsewhere in this system. What follows is the applied craft: how influence actually operates in the hallway conversation, the budget meeting, the one-on-one where resistance is palpable but unexpressed.
The Framework
Daily influence operates through five practical domains. Each represents a recurring leadership situation where micro-tactics produce disproportionate results.
Domain 1: Mapping Your Influence Network
Influence is not a function of title. Maxim Sytch's research demonstrates that informal power -- the actual ability to get things done -- depends on a network of relationships that may bear little resemblance to the org chart. The diagnostic is straightforward:
- List the ten people you most depend on to accomplish your work.
- For each, identify what you uniquely offer them (career advice, emotional support, stakeholder access, technical expertise).
- Flag imbalances: do they help you more than you help them? Are they clustered in one business unit?
- Identify gaps: whose cooperation do you need but lack a relationship with?
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

persuasion-and-influence is a skill published in the GitHub repository fatihguner/foreman (50 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 101 tokens to every session and 3,112 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-06.
Other skills, from other repositories
apply-cross-functional-leadership
Use when a manager needs to lead a project or initiative that depends on team members or stakeholders they do not formally manage — to build voluntary cooperation, alignment, and momentum across organizational boundaries through influence rather than authority.
apply-consequence-framing
Use when a more powerful actor has already announced a decision you need to reverse — to enumerate what that decision costs them in terms of their own stated goals, rather than expressing opposition, so they reconsider against their own framework without triggering ego-defensive rejection.
reciprocity-strategy-designer
Design reciprocity-based persuasion strategies and detect when reciprocity is being used against you. Use this skill when planning give and take strategies, creating lead magnets or free value offers, designing favor-first or value-first outreach, building gift-based marketing campaigns, crafting free samples or free…
minutes-weekly
Weekly meeting synthesis — themes, decision arcs, stale commitments, and what deserves your attention next week. Use when the user says "weekly review", "what happened this week", "weekly summary", "recap my week", "any outstanding items", "week in review", or at the end of a work week.
manage-taskboard
Manage Codex Taskboard / e-taskboard work with taskctl. Use for taskboard issue IDs, status sync, comments, or taskctl cloud setup—not for unrelated product docs.
merge-review
Reviews pending fleet worktree merges before they're accepted. Reads the merge-check queue, detects file-level conflicts between branches, proposes a safe merge order, and surfaces reconciliation plans for overlapping changes.
