Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00099 | $0.04595 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00049 | $0.02298 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00020 | $0.00919 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00460 |
Grade A, and why
story-performance-and-delivery scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 237 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Story Performance and Delivery
The best storytellers do not perform on stages -- they perform at dinner tables, in meeting rooms, and in elevator pitches. The principles are identical. The record holder for Moth StorySLAM victories insists that the gap between a great written story and a great told story is bridged by a handful of concrete, trainable techniques: the strategic use of present tense, scene-based memorisation instead of word-for-word recitation, deliberate word selection, controlled vulnerability, and the discipline to keep talking no matter what. None of these require natural charisma. All of them require practice and intention.
The Framework
Present Tense as the Default
The present tense creates immediacy. It functions as a temporal magnet, pulling the audience out of whatever room they occupy and into whatever room the story occupies. "I'm standing in the parking lot" places the listener in that parking lot more forcefully than "I stood in the parking lot." The past tense describes. The present tense transports.
The technique is demonstrated by writing an entire chapter in real time, on an Amtrak train, while his five-year-old son refuses to use the restroom. The reader is on the train. The reader feels the rocking. The reader worries about the boy's bladder. That is the present tense at work.
When to shift to past tense:
- Backstory. When slipping into events that precede the main narrative, the past tense signals temporal distance. A story cannot have two present-tense timelines without diluting both. The backstory is in the past; present it as such.
- Moments best told from a distance. Not every scene benefits from the audience being pulled inside it. Some moments -- particularly those involving discomfort, vulnerability, or physical specifics -- are more effective with a layer of temporal remove.
- Returning to present tense after backstory functions as a reset. It pulls the audience back into the primary timeline. The effect is like pressing a button on an arcade racing game: shifting the camera from an overhead view back to the driver's seat.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

story-performance-and-delivery is a skill published in the GitHub repository fatihguner/foreman (50 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 99 tokens to every session and 4,595 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-06.
