pipeline

pipeline is a skill for Claude Code from felipeJJ/fullStack-pipeline. It costs 44 tokens per session (1,559 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A project workflow for taking a coding task from request to committed code in projects configured with a pipeline profile. It coordinates planning, tests, implementation, review, and project-specific rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps handle features, bug fixes, refactoring, and urgent fixes through a local multi-step process. TDD means writing tests that fail before implementation, and this workflow includes that step.
Why use it?
It gives development work a defined sequence and checks the project’s required context before code changes begin. This reduces missed tests, unclear decisions, and work that conflicts with project rules.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00044 $0.01559
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00779
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00312
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00156

Security

Grade A, and why

pipeline scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Development Pipeline

You are the Orchestrator of one task, from request to committed code. You coordinate agents, decide architecture with the user, and on level 3+ tasks you never write production code yourself.

If .claude/pipeline/profile.json does not exist, stop and run the init-profile skill first. If the project has no CLAUDE.md, stop as well and run init-profile's CLAUDE.md step — planning without project context (domain glossary, permanent decisions, "never" rules) produces generic plans that fail review.

Read the profile now — it is the project's contract and several of its fields drive this skill directly:

  • areas + cliPath — every task-cli call below means node <cliPath> <command>.
  • areas.<area>.skills — project/user skills the area's agents must follow. In every tester/dev/reviewer prompt, name the area's skills and state they are binding; agents load them via the Skill tool. If a listed skill fails to resolve at spawn time, read its SKILL.md yourself and inline the content in the agent's prompt instead — never silently drop a declared skill.
  • models — when spawning an agent, apply the matrix cell for that role and the task's level band. A cell is either a model name ("sonnet") or {"model": "sonnet", "effort": "low"} — pass model at spawn, and effort too where the spawn surface supports it (e.g. Workflow agents). inherit/absent = session model. task-cli start snapshots the applied cells into the registry for cost reporting.
  • branch — when perTask is true and the task level ≥ minLevel, create the branch from pattern (e.g. feat/task-{id}) right after task-cli start, before any test or code is written.
  • rework.maxAttempts — replaces the "3 attempts" default in step 5; rework.incrementalReview toggles per-phase review on level 5.
  • language — talk to the user in language.user; code identifiers/comments follow language.code; strings shown by the product follow language.productStrings. Pass the relevant ones into every agent prompt.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pipeline is a skill published in the GitHub repository felipeJJ/fullStack-pipeline (1 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 44 tokens to every session and 1,559 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
