Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00028 | $0.00479 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00192 |

Grade A, and why
write-plan scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says
Write a Plan
Your goal is to write an Initial Plan or Follow-Up Plan into the ai-plans/ folder at the repository root. After writing, report the plan path and stop.
Plan File Name
The initial file name of the new plan file is <short-title>.md. <short-title> is a shortened kebab-case version of the ticket title. At this point in the conversation, you should be able to derive a full title from the discussion that you can shorten. If not, ask the user to provide one and shorten it.
Plan Structure
Check whether ai-plans/AGENTS.md contains the plan structure. If not, fall back to assets/default-plan-structure.md relative to this skill file.
What Happens After Writing a Plan?
The user reviews the plan. They will provide feedback, aspects of the plan might change. Once both you and the user agree on the plan being ready for implementation, it is frozen and becomes largely immutable (except for checking off Acceptance Criteria). When a plan is frozen, its file name is changed to <timestamp>-<ticket-id>-<short-title>.md, or <timestamp>-<short-title>.md (if no <ticket-id> is present). Also, a *Frozen at ...* line is inserted right below the # Title of the plan. All this doesn't happen in this step of the conversation.
Follow-up Plans
A Follow-Up Plan supersedes decisions of a Frozen Plan. The decision to write one is made in the Guiding Phase, when the review of the implementation calls for larger changes.
Use the same format and file naming convention. Read every earlier document for the ticket. In the opening section of the plan (## Rationale in the default structure), name the plans this one follows by exact filename.
Record only the changed decisions and outcomes. State exactly which earlier decisions this plan supersedes and why. Do not repeat unchanged decisions or contradict earlier plans silently.
Most Importantly
Try to keep each plan as concise as possible. Simpler language is preferred over elaborate prose.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

write-plan is a skill published in the GitHub repository feO2x/guided-coding (6 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 28 tokens to every session and 479 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
