remotion-video-agent

remotion-video-agent is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from frankxai/awesome-motion-design-agent-skills. It costs 40 tokens per session (248 once invoked), scanned A, original, CC0-1.0.

A guide for creating videos in Remotion, a tool that builds videos from React components and code. It covers explainers, motion graphics, social clips, MP4 files, and GIF previews.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan video format, duration, frame rate, scenes, audio, rendering, and final checks for delivery.
Why use it?
It turns a video idea into timed scenes that can be rendered consistently. It also helps catch cut-off text, empty pauses, clipped audio, and oversized GIFs.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00040 $0.00248
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00124
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00050
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00025

Security

Grade A, and why

remotion-video-agent scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Remotion Video Agent

Workflow

  1. Confirm the composition format: aspect ratio, duration, FPS, destination, and voice/music requirements.
  2. Break the video into scenes with frame ranges.
  3. Build scenes as React components with deterministic timing.
  4. Use Remotion helpers for interpolation, sequencing, audio, static files, and rendering.
  5. Prefer MP4 for delivery. Use GIF only for previews or documentation.
  6. Render and inspect before final delivery.

Useful Defaults

  • 30 FPS for general video.
  • 60 FPS only when motion quality requires it.
  • 1080x1920 for vertical social.
  • 1920x1080 for YouTube/demo.
  • 1200x630 or 1600x900 for launch preview loops.

QA

  • No text cut off.
  • No scene timing dead air.
  • Motion supports the script.
  • Assets are licensed or owned.
  • Audio levels are not clipped.
  • GIF exports are size-conscious.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
