furina: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/furina-reflect/SKILL.md

furina-reflect is a skill for Claude Code from Furinelle/furina. It costs 45 tokens per session (295 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for extracting selected long-term memories from a pasted conversation into structured JSON. Furina is the memory system referenced by the skill.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it with a reflection command or a long transcript when you need to identify durable preferences, facts, corrections, or boundaries.
Why use it?
It turns a long chat into concise information that can be reviewed and merged into a shared memory file later.

Skill for Claude Code

This is Furinelle/furina's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on furina itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything furina configures →

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is node skills/furina/scripts/furina-memory.mjs remember --reflection <reflection.json>.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00045 $0.00295
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.00148
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00059
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00030

Measured 12d ago against content hash cb3e04c6c2fd, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

furina-reflect scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Furina Memory Reflection

Read $ARGUMENTS as the transcript or notes to analyze. Output valid JSON only. Do not include Markdown fences or explanatory text.

Use the schema from skills/furina/references/prompt/reflection.md and skills/furina/references/memory/memory_format.md when needed.

Extraction Rules

  • Add at most 5 new memories.
  • Keep each memory content as one concise declarative sentence.
  • Prefer long-term value over one-off details.
  • Include obsolete_ids when correcting stale memories.
  • Do not save sensitive medical, financial, identity, or location data unless the user explicitly asks.
  • Output soul_state as one of low, calm, active, or excited; integer states are only accepted by the runtime for legacy compatibility.
  • Mark type=boundary memories as priority=3.

After generating JSON, the user can merge it with:

node skills/furina/scripts/furina-memory.mjs remember --reflection <reflection.json>
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
