php-http-psr

php-http-psr is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from fusengine/agents. It costs 52 tokens per session (1,642 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to standard, framework-independent PHP HTTP interfaces for requests, responses, middleware, and clients. Middleware is code that runs as a request passes through an application.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when building reusable HTTP clients, middleware pipelines, or web components based on PSR-7, PSR-15, PSR-17, and PSR-18.
Why use it?
It helps PHP libraries share HTTP code without being tied to one framework or message implementation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00052 $0.01642
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00821
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00328
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00164

Security

Grade A, and why

php-http-psr scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

plugins/php-expert/skills/php-http-psr/SKILL.md · 146 lines

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 146 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Includes guidance on reference implementations (nyholm/psr7, guzzlehttp/psr7, laminas-diactoros) and how to choose between them, plus a complete middleware-pipeline template.

Do NOT use this skill for Laravel's own HTTP layer (route to laravel-expert instead) or for Symfony's HttpFoundation component, which is a different, non-PSR-7 HTTP model — bridge the two via symfony/psr-http-message-bridge when needed (see references/implementations.md).

PHP HTTP — PSR-7 / 15 / 17 / 18

Agent Workflow (MANDATORY)

Before ANY implementation, use TeamCreate to spawn 3 agents:

  1. fuse-ai-pilot:explore-codebase - Detect the PSR-7 implementation already in use (composer.json)
  2. fuse-ai-pilot:research-expert - Verify current interface versions on php-fig.org + Packagist
  3. mcp__context7__query-docs - Check the chosen implementation's factory API

After implementation, run fuse-ai-pilot:sniper for validation.

Overview

These four PSR standards let libraries handle HTTP without coupling to any framework. Code depends on interfaces (Psr\Http\*); a concrete implementation is injected.

Standard Package Provides
PSR-7 psr/http-message Immutable HTTP messages: MessageInterface, RequestInterface, ResponseInterface, ServerRequestInterface, StreamInterface, UriInterface, UploadedFileInterface
PSR-15 psr/http-server-handler + psr/http-server-middleware RequestHandlerInterface, MiddlewareInterface — the middleware pipeline
PSR-17 psr/http-factory Factories that create PSR-7 objects without naming a concrete class
PSR-18 psr/http-client ClientInterface::sendRequest() — send a PSR-7 request, get a PSR-7 response

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
