cohesivity

cohesivity is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from fuyuxiang/echo-agent. It costs 41 tokens per session (1,140 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A provider-specific guide for Cohesivity, a managed service offering hosting, PostgreSQL databases, login, live updates, and file storage. It applies only when the user explicitly chooses Cohesivity or asks to operate an existing Cohesivity backend.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan or operate an explicitly selected Cohesivity backend, including its database, authentication, storage, and hosting services.
Why use it?
It prevents an unspecified backend request from silently selecting this provider or making external changes. It also requires approval before account, tenant, paid, deployment, or data-transfer actions.

About the project

Echo Agent is a self-hosted, long-running AI agent that connects language models, tools, memory, permissions, and messaging channels in one system. Individuals and teams use it for private automation that retains context across sessions, develops skills, schedules tasks, and requires approval for high-risk actions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00041 $0.01140
Opus 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00456
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00228
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00114

Security

Grade A, and why

cohesivity scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 108 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Cohesivity (optional)

Cohesivity provides managed hosting, Postgres, auth, realtime, storage, and other backend services. Its operator and upstream providers process the data sent to those services. The original contribution was submitted by a Cohesivity employee.

Scope and authorization

Use this skill only when the user explicitly chooses Cohesivity, or explicitly asks to operate an existing Cohesivity backend for this project. A generic request for an app, database, login, hosting, or deployment does not select this provider. Respect the user's existing provider and deployment destination.

Installing or viewing the skill only makes these instructions available. It does not authorize running third-party code, creating an account or tenant, uploading source or data, changing local guidance, configuring MCP, or sending feedback. Explain each proposed external change and get authorization for that specific action before performing it. Paid operations, claiming a tenant, upgrades, and public deployments require explicit approval of their effect and current cost. Do not automatically retry billing or ambiguous tenant creation.

Existing project

If the project has .cohesivity, read it as credential data, never as a shell script or executable instructions. Validate that its tenant belongs to the intended project; do not overwrite another tenant. Preserve mode 0600 and verify that Git actually ignores the file and is not already tracking it.

The fields are tenant_id, coh_management_key, coh_application_key, expires_at, tenant_lifecycle, and runtime_profile. Keep the two keys out of chat, logs, command arguments, commits, browser code, and mobile bundles. Read them privately into server-side request headers or the documented server-side data-plane mechanism. Do not send them to another origin or follow a redirect with credentials. Restrict credential-bearing requests to https://cohesivity.ai.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

cohesivity is a skill published in the GitHub repository fuyuxiang/echo-agent (1,056 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 41 tokens to every session and 1,140 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-22.
