genudo-knowledge-tables

genudo-knowledge-tables is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from genudo-ai/genudo_mcp. It costs 46 tokens per session (691 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A management tool for structured knowledge tables that store facts and searchable vector records for GenuDo AI agents. It can inspect tables, change their schemas and records, and test semantic searches.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create or inspect knowledge tables, add or update factual records, search them by meaning, and remove records by ID.
Why use it?
It keeps factual information organised and makes it available when an agent needs to answer product or lead questions. It also helps check whether searches return the intended facts.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00046 $0.00691
Opus 5.5 $0.00018 $0.00276
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00138
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00069

Security

Grade A, and why

genudo-knowledge-tables scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 22d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

GenuDo Knowledge Tables Management

Overview

Knowledge tables provide structured, vector-indexed factual grounding for GenuDo AI agents. Each table contains a defined column schema and row records retrieved via semantic hybrid search at runtime when leads ask factual or product questions.

Key Tools

Task MCP Tool
View tables, columns, and attached pipelines list_knowledge_tables
Create a new knowledge table schema create_knowledge_table
Insert or update knowledge rows (vector points) upsert_knowledge_points
Test runtime semantic retrieval search_knowledge_table
Delete rows by stable ID delete_knowledge_points

Step-by-Step Workflow

1. Discovery & Schema Inspection

Call list_knowledge_tables to inspect:

  • Existing table names, descriptions, and IDs.
  • Column schemas (e.g., product_name, pricing, features, eligibility).
  • Which pipelines are linked to each table.

2. Table Creation

When creating a new table (create_knowledge_table):

  • name: Descriptive identifier (e.g., summer_camp_pricing_2026).
  • description: Clear "when-to-use" prompt guiding the AI router on when to query this table.
  • columns: Array of column names that define the row schema.

3. Upserting Knowledge Points

Call upsert_knowledge_points to populate or update data:

  • table_id: Target knowledge table ID.
  • points: Array of data rows.
  • Stable ID (default_id): Always assign a deterministic, stable ID (e.g., prod-pro-annual, faq-refund-policy). If a point with the same default_id exists, it updates in-place; otherwise, it inserts a new row.
  • Complete Columns: Supply values for all defined schema columns to avoid incomplete facts.

4. Verifying Retrieval

Always test retrieval before declaring the knowledge base ready:

  • Call search_knowledge_table with table_id, query, and optional limit.
  • Use realistic customer phrasing (e.g., "how much does the family plan cost?").
  • Verify that the expected row is returned in the top matches with high relevance.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

genudo-knowledge-tables is a skill published in the GitHub repository genudo-ai/genudo_mcp (0 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 46 tokens to every session and 691 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-25.
