klai: Skill for Codex

.agents/skills/klai-portal-ui/SKILL.md

klai-portal-ui is a skill for Codex from GetKlai/klai. It costs 57 tokens per session (658 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A check that ensures each deployment service receives only its own environment variables and secrets. It prevents a service from loading the shared .env file, which may contain secrets for every service.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding services to Compose, connecting environment variables or secrets, migrating env files, or investigating an environment-scope CI failure.
Why use it?
It limits the damage if one service is compromised by keeping unrelated secrets out of its process environment.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00057 $0.00658
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.00329
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00132
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00066

Security

Grade A, and why

klai-portal-ui scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Klai Portal UI

Treat the implementation and the path-scoped design rules as the source of truth. Do not revive old purple, serif-heading, or raw model-name conventions.

  4. .claude/rules/klai/projects/portal-frontend.md for frontend architecture, i18n, routing, and behavioral pitfalls.
  5. klai-portal/frontend/DESIGN.md when selecting or extending shared components — the generated design contract for tokens, type scale, variants, and guidelines. Never edit it by hand; regenerate with npm run docs:design. The Rules Ledger in klai-portal/frontend/docs/ui-standards.md owns each rule's ID, level, and verification mode.

Verify any disputed rule against klai-portal/frontend/src/index.css, the relevant component in src/components/ui/, and nearby current pages. Update code and its owning rule together when intentional design changes make a rule stale.

Workflow

  1. Inspect the nearest comparable route or component and reuse its layout and interaction pattern.
  2. Prefer existing src/components/ui/ primitives. Use a native element when semantics or an established low-level component require it; do not wrap elements mechanically.
  3. Route all user-facing strings through Paraglide. Add both Dutch and English messages.
  4. Use CSS variables for themeable or semantic color and typography. Follow portal-patterns.md for the deliberate v1 grayscale overrides.
  5. Preserve keyboard access, focus visibility, labels, loading states, empty states, and error feedback.
  6. Check narrow and wide layouts when changing page structure.
  7. After adding or changing a shared component: update its header @purpose (and @guideline for component-owned rules), render it in /dev/ui, and run npm run docs:components and npm run docs:design so the generated contract stays true.
  8. Run the smallest relevant frontend tests, then typecheck and lint for the touched package.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
