What is bump-sentry-dependency?

A tool for updating an existing Python package in the Sentry code repository through its self-service GitHub Actions workflow. GitHub Actions is GitHub's system for running automated repository tasks.

Use it to upgrade or bump an existing Python dependency in getsentry/sentry when the repository workflow supports that change.

It avoids manually carrying out the repository's dependency-update process. It also limits the operation to existing Python dependencies in Sentry, rather than new packages or JavaScript packages.
