GitHub Agentic Workflows is a GitHub CLI extension that lets developers define AI-assisted repository automation in Markdown and run it through GitHub Actions. It is intended for tasks requiring interpretation or reasoning, such as issue triage, pull-request review, CI investigation, documentation maintenance, and dependency analysis. Context
When a Squad grows beyond a few agents, notifications flood a single channel — failure alerts drown in daily briefings, tech news buries security findings, and everything gets ignored. This is the pub-sub problem: a single message queue for everything is a recipe for missed alerts.
The fix is topic-based routing: agents tag notifications with a channel type, and a routing function sends them to the appropriate destination.

- Important alerts missed because they're buried in routine notifications
- Team members turning off notifications entirely (signal overwhelm)
- Onboarding friction: "where do I look for X?"
