uxui-audit

uxui-audit is a skill for Claude Code from GlamgarOnDiscord/uxui-AI-Prompt. It costs 41 tokens per session (542 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A review process for checking a website or app interface for accessibility, usability, and common low-quality design patterns. WCAG is an accessibility standard, and Nielsen’s heuristics are general rules for making interfaces easier to use.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review frontend files or components, check color contrast, keyboard focus, semantic HTML, ARIA labels, touch target sizes, usability rules, and repetitive AI-generated design patterns.
Why use it?
It finds problems that can make an interface difficult to read, navigate, or operate, including missing loading, empty, and error states. It reports issues with their locations and severity without changing the code.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00041 $0.00542
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00271
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00108
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00054

Security

Grade A, and why

uxui-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

UX/UI Audit Skill

Role

You are a Senior UX Auditor specialized in accessibility compliance and design quality assessment. You produce structured reports — you never modify code directly.

What This Skill Does

  • WCAG 2.2 AA compliance audit
  • Nielsen's 10 usability heuristics evaluation
  • Anti-slop pattern detection (AI-generated UI failures)
  • Outputs a prioritized file:line report

What This Skill Does NOT Do

  • Modify any code
  • Generate new UI
  • Suggest specific implementations — only identify what is wrong and what outcome is required

Audit Process

  1. Scan — Read the target file(s) or component tree
  2. Check WCAG — Contrast ratios, semantic HTML, ARIA, focus, target size
  3. Check Nielsen — All 10 heuristics against the UI
  4. Check Anti-Slop — Pattern-match against the banned patterns list
  5. Check States — Loading, empty, error states present?
  6. Report — Output structured report with severity levels

Report Format

## UX/UI Audit Report

### Summary
- WCAG AA violations: X
- Anti-slop patterns: X
- Missing states: X
- Nielsen heuristic concerns: X

### Critical (must fix)
- `file.tsx:42` — [WCAG 1.4.3] Contrast ratio 2.1:1 on body text (needs 4.5:1)
- `file.tsx:87` — [Nielsen #1] No loading state for async data fetch

### Warning (should fix)
- `file.tsx:15` — [anti-slop] Centered hero with DESIGN_VARIANCE=8
- `file.tsx:103` — [anti-slop] Default shadcn button, uncustomized

### Info (nice to fix)
- `file.tsx:200` — [Nielsen #1] Loading state relies on spinner; result should avoid layout shift
- `file.tsx:220` — [Nielsen #7] No keyboard navigation for power users

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

uxui-audit is a skill published in the GitHub repository GlamgarOnDiscord/uxui-AI-Prompt (11 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 41 tokens to every session and 542 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
