patpat-skill

patpat-skill is a skill for Cursor from goiltpatpat/patpat. It costs 39 tokens per session (365 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for creating or revising reusable instructions for coding agents, including when the instructions should activate and how to prove they work.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding or changing a SKILL.md file, its activation rules, its workflow, or its supporting references.
Why use it?
It helps keep an agent skill focused, discoverable, compatible with the repository, and validated after changes instead of relying on prose that only appears complete.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00039 $0.00365
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00182
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00073
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00036

Security

Grade A, and why

patpat-skill scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Patpat Skill

When invoked directly, read the operating protocol in full. Do not load the router.

Read repository truth, smallest safe change, and encode lessons. Apply the skill change playbook.

Inspect existing skills, host constraints, and repository conventions before editing. A learn pass must wait for approval and edit existing files only: no new SKILL.md and no *-mode mint. Do not mint a personal *-mode skill from learn. Give the skill one distinct responsibility. Make its description discriminate between prompts that should and should not trigger it. Write imperative operational instructions and move detailed procedures into directly linked references only when they reduce entrypoint context.

Reuse repository-native scripts and patterns. Do not depend on undocumented host behavior, duplicate generic model knowledge, or add optional files without an immediate use.

Run structural validation after every change. Apply patpat-eval when behavior, routing, or a description changes. Do not promote a skill because its prose appears complete.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
