Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00111 | $0.01399 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00044 | $0.00560 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00022 | $0.00280 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00140 |
Grade A, and why
unifi-network scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

reach the UniFi API directly with curl unless the user asks you to. How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 133 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Skill: UniFi Network (via unifi-mcp)
This skill tells you how to use the tools exposed by
gordcurrie/unifi-mcp safely and
efficiently. For a full security review, use the audit-network-security
skill instead.
Before you start
The tools are only available if the unifi-mcp server is configured in your MCP
client. If no list_devices / list_clients tools are available, stop and
point the user at the setup section of the
README. Do not try to
reach the UniFi API directly with curl unless the user asks you to.
If a call fails with a TLS or certificate error, the console is most likely
using its default self-signed certificate: the user needs UNIFI_INSECURE=true.
If it fails with 401/403, the API key is wrong or was revoked.
Ground rules
- Read before you write. Look up the current state with a
list_*orget_*tool before changing anything, and show the user what will change. - IDs, not names. Tools that act on an existing resource take its UUID
(
device_id,client_id,broadcast_id,policy_id, …). Resolve the name to an ID from the matchinglist_*result first. Never guess or construct an ID. Create tools such ascreate_dns_policyandcreate_firewall_zoneneed no existing ID. - Every change needs the user's approval. Get explicit approval for each
mutation (create, update, enable/disable, restart, delete) before calling
the tool. A previous approval does not carry over to a different change.
Many mutating tools also declare a
confirmedparameter: set it totrueonly after that approval. Do not sendconfirmedto tools that do not declare it. - Paginate fully.
list_*tools returndata, totalCount, offsetandlimit. IftotalCountis larger than the number of items you have, call again withoffsetincreased by the number of items returned until you have them all. Do not answer "how many" or "is X present" questions from a partial page. - Default site. Omit
site_idunless the user names a different site; the server falls back toUNIFI_SITE_ID. Uselist_sitesfor multi-site setups.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

unifi-network is a skill published in the GitHub repository gordcurrie/unifi-mcp (2 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 111 tokens to every session and 1,399 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-18.
