Getting it into your agent
It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00084 | $0.02662 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00034 | $0.01065 |

Grade A, and why
temps-add-migration-and-entity scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 216 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Add a migration and its entity
A schema change in Temps is always two pieces in one PR: a new migration file
(adding the file registers it in Migrator) and the entity (new or changed) that
reads the table. A test proves the migration applies to an existing database and, where it
matters, that down restores the previous state.
Read first: AGENTS.md (NEVER list, "Configuration is a column", "Data, logging and secrets"), REVIEW.md → "Migrations and the
database".
1. Decide what the change is
- Runtime configuration is a column, never an env var. A new knob belongs on
the row it configures (
oidc_providers.trust_idp_email,project_analytics_settings.exclude_datacenter_traffic), so it can be changed per record through the API, gets audit logging, and needs no restart. Env vars are only for bootstrap values needed before the database exists. - Sensitive values are encrypted at rest. Name the column
<thing>_encrypted(TEXT), write it withEncryptionService::encrypt_stringand read it withdecrypt_string(crates/temps-core/src/encryption.rs). Responses expose a boolean such ashas_secret, never the value. Worked example:crates/temps-revenue/src/service/integration.rs. - A shipped migration is never edited. Once a migration has been released,
its name is recorded in
seaql_migrationson users' databases and it never runs again. Fix or extend it with a new migration. - Stay compatible with the previous binary.
crates/temps-schema/src/schema_guard.rslets an operator roll the binary back after an upgrade with the newer schema in place. Prefer additive changes (new nullable or defaulted column, new table). Only drop or rename a column after the code has stopped reading it in an earlier release; seem20261105_000002_drop_webhook_deliveries_response_body.rs.
2. Create the migration file
Location: crates/temps-migrations/src/migration/.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

temps-add-migration-and-entity is a skill published in the GitHub repository gotempsh/temps (903 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 84 tokens to every session and 2,662 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.
