robot-to-world

robot-to-world is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from grasscaograss/AwesomeWeldoneSkills. It costs 64 tokens per session (732 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A calculator for converting points from a robot’s coordinate system back into the shared world coordinate system. A coordinate system is a way of describing where an object is using numbers such as X, Y, and Z.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to convert one or many robot points, using the selected robot arm and external-axis values, either directly or from a JSON file.
Why use it?
It removes the need to perform the rotation and movement calculations by hand when working with a two-robot welding system and an external rotation axis.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00064 $0.00732
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.00366
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00146
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00073

Security

Grade A, and why

robot-to-world scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/convert.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

(World → Robot)

1. 平移: P' = P + (-ext1, +ext2, 0)
   Robot A: angle = -(ext3 + 360)°
   Robot B: angle = -(ext3 + 180)°

(Robot → World)

   angle_A = ext3 + 360   (效果等同 ext3)
   angle_B = ext3 + 180
   dx = x - 600
   rx = dx * cos(angle) - y * sin(angle) + 600
   ry = dx * sin(angle) + y * cos(angle)

python ~/.claude/skills/robot-to-world/scripts/convert.py \
  --arm A \
  --ext "2799.992,1599.986,44.372" \
  --points "605.031,-113.480,1889.974" "646.348,787.098,1883.850"

python ~/.claude/skills/robot-to-world/scripts/convert.py --file input.json

JSON 格式:

[
  {"name": "P1", "x": 605.031, "y": -113.480, "z": 1889.974,
   "ext1": 2799.992, "ext2": 1599.986, "ext3": 44.372, "arm": "A"}
]

Files

What ships with it

3 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

robot-to-world is a skill published in the GitHub repository grasscaograss/AwesomeWeldoneSkills (2 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 64 tokens to every session and 732 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
