Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00056 | $0.04508 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00028 | $0.02254 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00011 | $0.00902 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00451 |
Grade A, and why
authentication-portal-jwks scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 343 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Authentication Portal JWKS
Ownership
pkg/authn/serve_http.go routes public discovery to
pkg/authn/handle_http_jwks.go. pkg/kms/jwks.go owns CryptoKeyStore.GetJWKS
and public-key serialization. Keep signing-key selection aligned with
CryptoKeyStore.SignToken(nil, nil, user) in pkg/kms/crypto_keystore.go.
All current portal access-token issuance paths use this default selection.
pkg/authn/handle_api_private_keys.go owns the explicitly enabled admin export
route. pkg/kms/jwks_private_keys.go owns GetJWKSPrivateKeys. Both public
and private exports use getJWKSSigningKeys for identical selection, ordering,
and deduplication; keep private encoding separate from GetJWKS.
This is portal-issued JWT discovery. Upstream OAuth key consumption belongs to
oauth-identity-provider and
pkg/idp/oauth/jwks.go; its JwksKey model includes shared secrets and must
not be reused as a public export model. JWTs here use signatures, not
asymmetric payload encryption.
HTTP Contract
The route is the complete /.well-known/jwks.json suffix beneath the portal
mount. Root, /auth/, /xauth/, and /tenant/xauth/ mounts expose,
respectively, /.well-known/jwks.json, /auth/.well-known/jwks.json,
/xauth/.well-known/jwks.json, and
/tenant/xauth/.well-known/jwks.json. The embedding server determines which
paths reach a portal; the library has no general configured mount prefix.
Match the complete suffix on Go's decoded r.URL.Path. Do not accept an extra
trailing slash, filename suffix, or a match only in the query. Route before
API/QR-code dispatch and JSON negotiation, so nested mounts containing those
segments, format=json, and JSON request headers work identically.
- GET returns 200 with
application/jwk-set+jsonand a nonemptykeysarray when the selected issuer is asymmetric. - HEAD returns the same success headers and Content-Length, without a body.
- Missing signing keys or a symmetric selected issuer return 404, including a store with HMAC first and RSA/EC later. Verification-only public keys do not enable this endpoint.
- Other methods return 405 with
Allow: GET, HEAD. - Invalid asymmetric signing material returns 500 without key material or internal error text in the response. Response write errors are propagated.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

authentication-portal-jwks is a skill published in the GitHub repository greenpau/go-authcrunch (59 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 56 tokens to every session and 4,508 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-13.
